Is your social marketing strategy working?

I just found this article on how to tell if your social media marketing strategy is “working”. I thought it was relevant to class right now since we have been discussing how to measure the success of a social media marketing campaign. The article gives some metrics that I thought could be useful, one being Conversions – meaning how many people on your social medias are interacting in a meaningful way, for example if they make any purchases

  1. I completely agree with the article that companies often focus too much on vanity metrics, and should focus more on metrics like conversions instead. However, as we saw in class, it isn’t always easy to measure the impact of social media on conversions.
